Structure and Operating Principle of an Electromagnetic Overhead Crane
● Metal Structure: Primarily composed of the bridge (including the main beam and end beams) and the trolley frame. The entire structure is welded from high-strength steel, offering excellent mechanical properties and ensuring stability and long life under heavy loads and high-frequency operation.
● Hoisting and Operating Mechanism: Comprises the hoisting motor, reducer, reel, brake, and wire rope. It drives the electromagnetic chuck vertically, ensuring smooth lifting and precise positioning.
● Electromagnetic Chuck System: Consists of the electromagnetic chuck body, control cabinet, cable reel (for retracting and extending the power cable), and demagnetizer. During operation, the control cabinet supplies direct current to the electromagnetic chuck, generating a strong magnetic field that firmly holds the material. Upon power failure, the magnetic field dissipates, releasing the material.
● Electrical Control System: Utilizing variable frequency speed regulation technology, the crane hoisting and trolley operations achieve smooth starting and stopping, effectively preventing load sway and ensuring precise and safe operation.
